PHASE 1
Within NAPCORE, a taskforce on cycling data has produced recommendations on cycling data standards in four main fields: counting, infrastructure, parking, and real-time.
So far, the taskforce has identified relevant data types for cycling, but also standards that already exist and could be adapted/extended to cycling, leading to a technical and strategic prioritisation of the cycling data standardisation roadmap for Europe.
In this document, the taskforce on cycling data presents a summary of the results gathered during the year 2024 and the conclusions made. Before collecting information, a community was needed.
POLIS helped us with creating a community to discuss use cases and gather all the different standards that are used already.
