How can mobility data be better leveraged to benefit travellers and local communities ?
This question was at the heart of the Mobility Data Forum 2026, organised by the French Transport Regulatory Authority (ART) on 5 June 2026. This third edition, co-labelled by NAPCORE—the European project dedicated to coordinating stakeholders working on mobility data—and chaired by Sophie Auconie, Vice-President of ART, brought together 236 participants and 19 speakers representing government administrations, local authorities, transport operators, passenger associations and mobility data experts.
The event recordings, presentation materials and summary of Q&A from the Mobility Data Forum 2026 are available online. The Forum provided an opportunity to review national and European developments in the field of mobility data, share practical experience and identify ways to improve the publication, quality and reuse of mobility data for the benefit of travellers and local communities.
Mobility data: a key enabler for better traveller information services

Today, mobility data plays a crucial role in supporting reliable traveller information services, facilitating multimodal journeys and enabling travellers to make informed travel decisions.
Discussions during the Forum focused on two key themes:
A collective effort to improve mobility

The webinar has established itself as a key annual meeting point for public and private stakeholders committed to improving the availability and value of mobility data. It provides a platform for sharing experience, disseminating best practices and supporting the implementation of national and European developments.
ART would like to extend its sincere thanks to the Directorate General for Infrastructure, Transport and Mobility (DGITM) for its presentation on recent developments concerning the French National Access Point for Mobility Data (transport.data.gouv.fr), as well as to the NAPCORE project partners for sharing their insights into European policy developments and their implementation at national level.
Presentation materials, webinar recordings and a summary of the questions and answers are available in the following.
