That endeavour originated from the lack of a solid reference document explaining and clarifying all data categories in one place. By clearly defining each data category, there is less room for confusion, ambiguity, and misinterpretation among different MSs.
Additionally, having well-defined data categories can also facilitate the development of interoperable NAP platforms as well as the harmonization of data across different NAP platforms, which can lead to greater efficiency.
Data dictionary currently includes 4 well-structured Markdown documents, each corresponding to one of the following Delegated Regulations.
· Delegated Regulation (EU) 885/2013: Provision of information services for safe and secure parking places for trucks and commercial vehicles.
· Delegated Regulation (EU) 886/2013: Provision, where possible, of road safety-related minimum universal traffic information free of charge to users.
· Delegated Regulation (EU) 2022/670: Provision of EU-wide real-time traffic information services.
· Delegated Regulation (EU) 2024/490, amending Delegated Regulation (EU) 2017/1926: Provision of EU-wide multimodal travel information services.
